The Crew

The crew is going to change from time to time. First one accompanying me is my twinbrother Georg.

The List

Here is a list of what you should and what you should not bring when you come sailing with me.

To keep in mind: Whatever you pack, think about the fact, that it should be as little and as light as possible. You, and I (!!!) have very little space on board!

  • No sleeping bag, I have a spare, bring a bedsheet instead which you can use inside this sleeping bag.
  • No suitcase, better bring a frameless rucksack or soft bag for your belongings.
  • A daypack rucksack.
  • Clothingwise you should bring, at all times of the year, at least two warm, best fleece (=quickdrying), pullovers, the rest according the time of the year. Keep in mind that summer down there is very hot. In the past it proved very good, to have some longsleeve white T-Shirts as sun protection. There is no place on board to hide from the sun!
  • Bring some clothes were it does not matter if it gets salt on it. Blue shorts look sailorlike ;-), white, in a few days. We can wash some stuff if necessary.

    Minimalism

  • Two towels (not kingsize!) one for saltwater, a small one for freshwater and a flannel.
  • Toothbrush & deodorant...
  • Seasickness pills if you need.
  • Sunlotion.
  • Bathing suit
  • If you have, some rubber boots (with non skid sole).
  • Some deckshoes, some shoes for hiking.
  • Some rain/spray protection, the smaller ones of you can put on my drysuit if it's real wet. I also have one set of XL oilskins for taller guests on board.
  • Photocamera
  • A basecap
  • Some sailing gloves if you have
  • Some paperback books

Finaly: Before you leave, check back with my "homebase" wether there is anything I need what you could bring with you...
So I hope that's all, remember to keep it small and lean,
Kaspar
